Dringhouses Primary School is seeking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support the children in our school, helping to deliver guided interventions under the direction of the class teacher and support access to learning within our well resourced and engaging classrooms.

We’re looking for someone to work with our fantastic children here at Dringhouses Primary. We need someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and with a great sense of humour.
The successful applicant will be someone who understands the importance of building secure, caring and trusting relationships – encouraging and modelling resilience, growth and repair. As well as someone who can keep up with the demands of busy and adventurous learners.
Responsibilities will include working collaboratively with the teaching team to support delivery of the Dringhouses Discovery Curriculum in a more specialised small group setting as well as in the main classroom.
Qualifications and experience required:
-Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent
-Experience in a classroom environment, ideally within the last 2 years
-Knowledge of the national primary curriculum
-Great interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to plan and organise and to use own initiative
-The ability to assist with assessment and monitoring of pupil progress
-Committed to maintaining high standards
-Flexible and a team player
This is a fixed term, term time only contract starting in March 2025 until Easter 2026, whereby the position may become permanent. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.
