Dringhouses Primary School is looking to recruit an exceptional class teacher to cover a period of maternity from October 2024 until the end of the Summer Term 2025.
We’re looking for someone to work as part of a friendly and welcoming team, someone innovative who can impact positively on all learners, and someone reflective, who celebrates good practice, and can be central in ensuring all children enjoy an excellent education.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and friendly who will ensure that Dringhouses Primary provides an excellent education for our children.
You will:
- Have an in depth understanding of the curriculum and its principles to ensure that children have the best start to their primary education
- Be an highly effective and engaging classroom teacher who will motivate, and inspire the children
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate, to ensure that teaching and learning is consistently of a high quality
- Have a commitment to your own development, as well as the children’s
- Work as part of highly effective and dedicated team

This is a part time (0.4fte), temporary maternity cover post from October 2024 until the end of the Summer Term 2025 and we would welcome applications from teachers on the main teacher pay scale M1-M6. Please note that there is some flexibility around working pattern and this can be decided by negotiation with the successful candidate.
