Site Manager (Level 3)

Permanent, Part time Contract (30hpw)

Grade 6, L1-4 (£26,224-£28,725, per annum, reduced pro rata)

We are looking for a committed Site Manager to join our team from September 2024.

Our Site Manager will be responsible for the security, safety and maintenance of the school building and grounds, and as such will be someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.

The post would suit someone with a flexible approach, who enjoys the challenge of a varied routine.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: 

  • A firm commitment to the school
  • A flexible approach and ability to work independently
  • A good range of maintenance/DIY skills
  • Good record keeping skills
  • Good Communication/IT skills

Duties include:

  • Locking and unlocking of premises
  • Out of hours key holder
  • General repairs and routine maintenance
  • Grounds maintenance/safety
  • Routine hygiene, health and safety checks 
  • Porterage and other manual duties
  • Adjustment of heating controls
  • Some cleaning duties
  • Management of school lettings
  • Liaison with contractors. 

This is a permanent contract for 30 hours per week (split-shift), 52 weeks per year, with 24 days’ annual leave.

Suggested working pattern is: Monday – Friday 07:00am – 09:30am, 15:00pm-18:30pm.  This working pattern can be negotiated.
